The ornate historic water feature in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris is surrounded by trees and known as the Medici Fountain or La fontaine M�dicis. It was built in 1630 by Marie de' Medici, queen of France.
This peaceful spot in the Luxembourg Gardens has undergone many changes since it was originally built but still retains the original splendor of it's Italian influence.
Year round, but especially in the spring the surrounding trees cast beautiful reflections into the pool of water.
