Cassis is a quaint coastal town east of Marseilles in the Cote d'Azur area of France.
The main industry here now is tourism and wine making with travellers from Europe and all over the world visiting especially during the summer months.
The picturesque harbor is filled with fishing, sailing and small pleasure boats. Larger cruise ships moor further out in the Mediterranean waters and then sail into the harbor for lunch and a wander around the shops and narrow winding streets.
