Fine art photography of Medici Reflections by Georgia Fowler
The ornate historic water feature in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris is surrounded by trees and known as the Medici Fountain or La fontaine M�dicis. It was built in 1630 by Marie de' Medici, queen of France.
This peaceful spot in the Luxembourg Gardens has undergone many changes since it was originally built but still retains the original splendor of it's Italian influence.
Year round, but especially in the spring the wonderful greenery of the trees casts beautiful reflections into the pool of water.
